iOS 4.3.5 Released & Tethered Jailbreak

Just wanted to make a quick post because earlier today Apple released iOS 4.3.5. The update includes resolving a security issue with the certificate verification. This is only a week after iOS 4.3.4 was release to fix the PDF exploit that Jailbreakme.com used back on 4.3.3. For those of you that have updated already and want to keep their jailbreak there is only a tethered method out at the moment. You can do that with the newest version of Redsn0w. If the untethered Jailbreak is released soon I will post a guide for you guys and stay away from the tethered jailbreaks for now. Don’t get your hopes up though, by the time the untethered jailbreak is out iOS 5 may be released.

iOS 5 Beta 4: Now w/ Over the Air Update

Apple just released the iOS 5 Beta 4 to developers and this time it is said to allow over the air updates. This means rather than plugging your device up to you computer and updating through iTunes you will download the firmware and update on your device. So far I’ve just heard that its not working, most likely due to Apple’s servers being killed from people trying it. Did it work for you?

AT&T Offering Refurbished iPhone 3GS for $9

You read that correctly, AT&T is offer anyone who signs up for an 2 year contract a refurbished (used but fixed up) iPhone 3GS for only $9. It even comes with a 90-day warranty and 30-day trial period. Rumors lately have said that Apple will be releasing a cheaper model along with the next gen iPhone. Could this be AT&T trying to clear out its stock of old iPhone’s to be replaced with an iPhone Nano? Let me know your thoughts.
Google+ iPhone App is out!

Google has now unleashed their “Google+” application into the AppStore. Android users have had this for some time now while iPhone users had to wait for Apple long approval process. The app is a free download for iPhone and iPod touch (no iPad version). I know a lot of you are having to suffer dealing with Facebook while still awaiting an invite to Google+ but just be patient. I’ll include a few screenshots for now but stay tuned for a video later!
